At Linking the Next Steps Inc., our team is passionate about creating opportunities for neurodiverse individuals and those facing barriers to employment. We are a dedicated group of professionals, community advocates, and volunteers who work tirelessly to raise funds and provide accessible programs that empower individuals. Our mission is to ensure everyone has the opportunity to develop essential skills, gain employment experience, and participate in enriching community activities. Together, we strive to make a lasting impact by fostering inclusivity, support, and growth for all our participants.

Community Liaison Officer – Our friendly connector of people and ideas! They chat with community centres, keep our Youth Program Coordinators in the loop, and make sure our Workshop Facilitators have everything they need to work their magic. Basically, they keep the good vibes (and communication) flowing.

Head of Making Us Look Awesome - (website and social media) The digital wizard behind the scenes! Whether it’s making our website shine, crafting the perfect social media post, or ensuring everyone knows about our awesome programs, they make us look good—online and beyond!

The Hub Insight Advisor – The go-to person for sparking ideas, sharing insights, and guiding meaningful conversations. They bring energy, creativity, and expertise to every session, making sure everyone leaves feeling inspired, confident, and ready to take on new challenges!

Administrator Coordinator – The mastermind behind keeping everything organised and running smoothly! From schedules to spreadsheets, emails to event planning, they keep the chaos in check and make sure everyone has what they need. Basically, the glue that holds it all together (and the hero who reminds us where we left that important document)!

Youth Program Coordinator – The go-to person for all things fun! They run Next Step Adventurers (our epic school holiday program) and Next Step Voyagers (a mix of cooking, crafts, and moving like nobody’s watching). If there’s laughter and creativity happening, they’re probably behind it!

Adventure & Voyager Volunteers – Our incredible volunteers bring a wealth of knowledge, insight, and real-world experience, with certificates in Mental Health, Community Services, or Youth Work. Coming from diverse backgrounds, they share their passion for helping others while gaining hands-on experience. They’re dedicated, caring, and fully equipped with a Working with Children Check (WWC), ready to make a positive impact in our programs and the lives of everyone they support. Truly, they are the heart and soul of our team! 🌟😊
